Internal Linking or How to Make Clusters?

I have 4-5 categories on my site. Suppose those are A, B, C, D, and E and there are 20 posts in each category. I want to interlink my post with other post for better indexing in creditablity.

I have planned to interlink all the posts of Category A with the posts of Category A only and the posts of Category B with Category B only i.e. no cross-interlinking. I would like to know whether an internal linking post with a credible source is helpful or interlinked with the same category in which the post is written. Is this way of doing internal linking considered clusters?

from what I know, clustering refers to keywords and pages only. I've never heard of clusters for internal links, so I don't think this is a thing :)

And yes, the way you've done internal links is good. Maybe - if the content of both pages is extremely relevant, or you feel like your visitors would benefit from this - you could do some cross-interlinking every now and then. But otherwise you've interlinked well...
