Hey everyone,

New here, been browsing around & noticed the same questions & topics are repeatedly mentioned so I just wanted to share my thoughts.

TLDR; Stop looking to get rich quick, you don't need money to make money, the first steps are long & brutal & being unique & irreplaceable will help you stand out in even the most saturated markets.

1. Getting rich quick

It seems that many users here want to " get rich quick " rather than actually building something to make consistent income, in that regard a lot of you are better off playing the lottery. Making money generally require hard work & many successful endeavors you see are built upon countless unseen failures. There is no place for laziness or fear, if you expect handouts you are better off getting a job.

2. Making money with no money
You have no money, or no disposable income that you can use as leverage, what do you do? Find a skill or trait you have that you are good at. Find people who need said skill or trait, & provide value for free. This is to build your credibility & case studies that you can showcase later on, until then grit your teeth & build your rep as much as you can.

3. First hurdle your first paying client
This is one of the biggest hurdles you'll face & one where a lot of people tend to give up. The search for your first customer is brutal, its a road filled with ghosts, decline, denials, fake interest & countless " what am I doing wrong". This is meant to test your mettle & it will truly make you question. You may have the best everything, ads, website, pitch & still not see results. However its important that you keep building & keep pushing, its a necessary evil one can say.

4. Making your first buck sucks
After you've gotten your first customer, many of you will feel on top of the world & its a great feeling for the first 10 seconds. After which you realize the magnitude of it all, the work you need to put in to hit your goals, before it was a dream, but now there is an actual timeline & process you can make a comparison to. At this stage many of you will see just how terrible & inefficient your work was but also see how much better you can become at what you do. The goalpost has moved, there is a lot of newfound zeal, but also a lot of weird conflicting feelings, excitement but fear. A lot of people quit here surprisingly, because on realizing the magnitude of work to be done, it may just be better to get a job & chill.

5. The wall
After you gotten better at what you do, signed more clients etc, eventually you hit it, its a wall that constantly makes you feel stuck, inadequate. You've done so well, so why is this here? Its extremely important that once you reach this stage, you start thinking differently. You mindset needs to revert to " how can I provide even more value " as the only way to overcome this wall is to become unique. Make yourself or your business irreplaceable. A lot of endeavors are saturated & that's just the nature of these things, that does not mean however that you can't make money. Be better, be unique, be something people in your niche can't go without & you'll have no issues.

This entire post was written based off my own experience coupled with 10 mins of research, so it definitely won't apply to everyone, but it may apply to some. Regardless I hope anyone reading this can find some sort of inspiration, especially going into the new year, if not then I tried.

Thank you all & have a great rest of your day.
